Classes for the 5 Week Pre-Sessional Course (EF0U04) start on Wednesday 31st July 2024.
Enrolment for the course will take place on Wednesday 31st July at room H128 of the Hirwaun Building at the Treforest campus.
You will have classes from Monday to Friday every week. Each day, except for Friday, is split into two lessons: Lesson 1 and Lesson 2 with a lunch break in between. There is only one lesson on Fridays.
There are also daily homework / self-study tasks which students are expected to do in their own time.
Attendance at all lessons is compulsory: You must attend all lessons.
As part of the standard University of South Wales procedures, an attendance register will be taken each day and failure to attend classes will be recorded. Poor attendance my may affect your final grades and stop you progressing to your chosen Degree or Master’s course.
You should shortly be receiving printed USW materials for the first seven weeks of the course. The materials will also be sent to you via email and will be available online.
In order to pass the course you will be assessed through a combination of coursework tasks and exams which are held in the final two weeks of the course (we will tell you the exact dates when we have finalised the exam time table).
